Baby Night Lights

Baby night lights complete the look and feel of the nursery. You can make your own night light to complement the theme of the nursery. It can be a beautiful accent that will also serve a valuable purpose. A dim light will allow you to see in the dark without having to turn on brighter lighting. It is important for night time feedings and allows you to easily leave the room without disturbing your baby's sleep.

What Type Of Lighting

The lighting of the room should be soft and gentle, never harsh. The light can be in the form of a lamp, a plug-in light, or a tea light candle lamp. There are other types of lighting but these are the easiest to make. There are a variety of materials that can be used for making your lighting. Battery powered tea light candles, plug-in with a plain shade, and table lamps also with a plain shade. You can buy a lighting kit from the hardware store and make a custom lamp using 1/2-inch MDF or plywood. These require a little more skill but you should never be afraid to try out a new project.
