Creating Baby Photo Keepsakes

Baby photo keepsakes can be cherished for years to come. In order to create a photo keepsake, you must first get a great photo. Once you have a photo, you can turn it into a keepsake. The keepsake can be in the form of a gift box, a keepsake photo pillow, or a photo tote bag. You can have mugs and t-shirts made with the photos. Turn your baby photo into something memorable.Using Technology For Your Project Use your computer to create your project by either scanning a photo or using a digital photo from your digital camera. There are also a variety of printer papers available for making your projects. T-shirt transfer paper, printable fabric, and canvas photo papers are just some of the types of paper which can be used with your inkjet printer. Go to your local office supply store or craft store to see the types of papers that are available. One of my favorite papers to use is t-shirt transfer paper because of it's versatility. The versatility of the paper makes it a great way to capture your baby's photo. Iron it onto fabric and it can be used in just about any sewing project imaginable. Another favorite of mine is printable fabric. This can be used for creating a quilt with your baby photos. It's technically not paper but rather fabric with a paper backing. You use this with an inkjet printer. As you can see, technology is a great tool to use for crafting.

Baby Keepsake Photo Pillow
This baby photo pillow is endearing with it's lace border and quilted fabric. Add ribbon embellishments to make it extra special or embroider the baby's name and birth date to it. Print a photo of the baby onto t-shirt transfer paper or add a vinyl pocket instead so that the recipient can add their own photo later on.
