A flower headband is really easy to make using a store bought headband and a fake flower. These fun girl accessories are adorable and look great in photographs. You can use large or small blooming flowers. It depends on your preference.
If you cannot find a headband that you like at the store, make your own by sewing one using any stretchy fabric. Match them to an outfit to make it extra special. For example, buy a white headband, attach a fake white rose to it for a flower girl to use in a wedding. These also make great gifts for any little girl. Have fun coordinating the fabric and flowers. To make this headband, you will need the following:
Step 1: Gather headband where seams meet using coordinating thread and secure end. (See photo A.)
Step 2: With thread and needle still attached, push needle through underneath of flower. It's a bit tough so you may want to use a thimble to assist with this part. (See photo B.)
Step 3: Secure flower by sewing several times through flower and headband. (See photo C.) You've now completed your hair accessory.
